Your hosts Jonny and Jo Gibson have been visiting the Coteaux d'Aix en Provence, Alpilles and Luberon regions for many years and have built up a good knowledge of the wines, wine estates and villages of this beautiful part of Provence. Now you and your friends and family can share some of their best loved wines, wine estates, food and markets by joining them on a Provence Wine Weekend.
All inclusive Provence Wine Weekends are for bespoke groups of 8 people and include transfers from and to Marseille airport, three nights full board accommodation in a private house with a pool, tutored wine tastings to introduce you to the wine regions and wine styles of Provence, visits to three wine estates (including Domaine Vallon des Glauges featured in Rick Stein's 'Secret France' TV series - BBC Nov 2019), a local market and two villages, home cooked Provencal meals including complimentary wine with dinner and a special olive oil tasting and home cooked dinner with Paul Griffon at his family's 500 year old farmhouse Mas de l'Estello (as featured in Rick Stein's 'Secret France' book) - see Dates for full itinerary details.
Jonny is a certified Wine Educator qualified to teach WSET Level 1, 2 and 3 and Wine Scholar Guild’s French Wine Scholar course. He runs Sussex Wine School and Kent Wine School in the UK and is a regular judge at wine competitions.
Jo is an excellent home cook and she is passionate about Provencal food and markets. She has been visiting this area for over 15 years.
